Power analyzer DMG7501 type with BACnet protocol

LOVATO Electric expands its range of digital measuring instruments with the new DMG7501 power analyzer with BACnet communication protocol.

Thanks to property-based communication model, BACnet enables information exchange between equipment from different manufacturers, facilitating integration into building supervision and control systems.

This protocol primarily used in commercial buildings and large facilities, such as shopping centres, office buildings, hospitals, hotels and complex infrastructures, where the coordinated management of HVAC systems and other technical building systems requires effective communication between devices. In these environments, BACnet is an established solution for integrating equipment into building automation and building management systems.

Key features of the DMG7501 are:

  • colour widescreen display 118x96mm
  • Compatibility with standard cut-out 92x92mm
  • NFC connectivity for configuring parameters via a smartphone using the LOVATO NFC app
  • expandability with up to three additional modules.

The DMG7501 is cETLus certified, for the United States and Canada, markets where BACnet is widely used.

The BACnet is also well established in Europe, particularly in Germany and France, where it is used in building automation systems for commercial and non-residential buildings.
Its international adoption makes BACnet a strategic protocol for integrating measuring instruments into building supervision and management systems.
