The introduction of the 24VAC/DC auxiliary power supply expands the range of applications for the ADXL series soft starters, making them particularly suitable for machines and systems where the control circuit operates at low voltage. The new models can be powered directly from the 24VAC/DC source already present in the control panel, eliminating the need for a transformer or a dedicated auxiliary power supply. This solution helps to simplify wiring, reduce the number of components installed and facilitate the integration of the soft starter into automation systems.

The new ADXL…24 models are particularly suitable for:

• applications with a 24VDC-powered control circuit, typical of machine-side control panels and industrial automation systems;
• systems powered by 24V switching power supplies, UPS units or batteries;
• installations where a 100–240 VAC auxiliary voltage is not available, for example due to the absence of a neutral conductor.

The new models retain all the electrical characteristics, hardware features and firmware functionalities of the ADXL series, including:

• Two-phase control
• Built-in bypass relay
• Backlit icon display, with text in 6 languages (English, Italian, French, Portuguese, German)
  
• NFC connectivity on the front panel for parameter programming via Android and iOS smart devices using the LOVATO NFC app
