PMVF71 replaces the previous PMVF70 code and differs from it in the following aspects:

• More compact size: 4 modules instead of 6
• Wider auxiliary power supply range: 24…240 VAC/DC instead of 100…240 VAC / 110…250 VDC of the previous version
• Higher number of integrated I/Os: 5 digital inputs and 3 relay outputs (2 C/O + 1 NO) instead of 4 digital inputs and 2 relay outputs (C/O).

PMVF71 integrates all the protection functions required by the ENA G99 technical guideline, such as dual threshold minimum and maximum voltage and frequency protection, R.O.C.O.F. and Vector Shift.

PMVF71 is equipped with three relay outputs: one dedicated to controlling the interface switch (IS), one programmable output with a default function for controlling the backup device, and a third output that is freely programmable. If required, the functionality can be further expanded by adding up to 2 EXM series expansion modules, allowing the integration of additional inputs and outputs or a communication port selectable among Ethernet, RS485, USB, and RS232.

Through the backlit graphic display, it is possible to monitor measurements, parameters, thresholds, counters, and status information via dedicated pages that are clear, intuitive, and easy to navigate. An event log function is also available to record up to 128 events (protection trips, password actions, command execution, system events) with time reference.
