LOVATO Electric updates its existing range of contactors

LOVATO Electric is set to launch its latest BF contactors, extending the popular BF series up to 420–630A AC-3.

Built with the same advanced design technology as the BF160-400 range, these new models replace the longstanding 11B series and continue LOVATO’s commitment to performance and reliability.

The new contactors deliver compact dimensions, electronically controlled AC/DC coils with wide voltage ranges, and improved energy efficiency. Designed for demanding motor control and power switching applications, they support easy installation, robust accessory options, and full compatibility with existing LOVATO solutions – ensuring seamless upgrades for modern industrial systems.

With this upcoming launch, LOVATO Electric strengthens its offering for high-current applications, giving panel builders and OEMs a new standard in reliability and versatility.

The BF420-630A contactors are designed to minimise panel space and simplify wiring, making them ideal for compact starter assemblies. The modular design also allows quick integration with accessories such as mechanical interlocks, terminal protection kits, and connection kits for star-delta or reversing configurations.

Like the rest of the BF range, these new contactors feature electronically controlled coils that reduce energy consumption and ensure stable operation even under fluctuating supply conditions. The flexibility of having one coil for 100–250V AC/DC provides added convenience and reduces stock management for distributors and installers.
