LOVATO Electric has expanded its circuit breaker accessory range with the new P1X19 motor operators, bringing remote control capability to compatible miniature circuit breakers and residual current circuit breakers.
Designed for centralised systems, unattended switchboards and electrical panels that are difficult to access, the P1X19 enables connected circuit breakers to be tripped or reclosed remotely via an electrical signal. That means greater flexibility for system designers and a more practical approach to managing electrical installations.
Available for single, two, three and four-pole applications, the range offers a choice of control voltages to suit different system requirements.

What is a miniature circuit breaker (MCB)?
A Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) is an automatic electrical protection device designed to interrupt a circuit when it detects an overload or short circuit. By disconnecting the affected circuit, it helps protect electrical wiring and equipment from damage.
MCBs are widely used in distribution boards, control panels and electrical installations. However, where a circuit breaker is installed in a remote location, an unattended panel or a centralised system, operating it manually may be inconvenient.

Meet the P1X19 motor operator range
The new LOVATO Electric P1X19 range comprises two types, designed for different pole configurations.
P1X191 for 1P and 2P devices
Compatible with:
• P1MB miniature circuit breakers
• P1RD residual current operated circuit breakers
• P1RE residual current circuit breakers with overcurrent protection
Available with 230VAC/220VDC or 24VDC control voltage.
P1X192 for 3P and 4P devices
Compatible with:
• P1MB miniature circuit breakers
• P1RD residual current operated circuit breakers
Also available with 230VAC/220VDC or 24VDC control voltage.
Both types feature a front-mounted AUTO-MAN selector and a locking system for securing the circuit breaker in the OFF position.
