How can the starting of more than one pump be controlled, based on the liquid monitoring in a tank?
The 24VDC version of the KINCO programmable relay provides to implement this sort of function.
Up to 15 starting thresholds can be fixed once a 0…10V analog signal of a level transducer is connected to one of the Kinco analog inputs. This operation is done using the analog comparator blocks available in the programmable relay. The thresholds can be freely programmed directly using the Kinco keys and display.
In this way, the end user can decide at which liquid level both the main pump and eventual stand-by pumps must be started.
As an alternative, the 15 thresholds can be used to switch on 15 different programmable speed rates should the pumps be driven by VFNC1, VFS11 or VFPS1 series motor drives from LOVATO Electric.
What is the maximum input and output configuration which can be obtained with the programmable logic relay?
By using a LRD base module and adding three LRE08 expansion modules, each with 8 I/O, the following configurations can be possibly obtained:
By enabling a special function, also consents to use the 4 directional keys on the base module front as digital inputs.
The maximum configuration is therefore 48 I/O of which 28 are inputs and
20 outputs.
