A new button has been added to the LOVATO Electric L series pilot devices. This latest product is the triple-touch actuator, comprising three push buttons that separately operate auxiliary contacts placed in the three positions of the mounting adapter. Its use consents to substantial advantages in terms of space and cost saving if compared with the use of three separate conventional push buttons. The design and operation of the triple-touch button is similar to the double-touch version 8LP2TB7…, save for a third extended push button in the middle position. It is characterised by two outer push buttons that are flush and green coloured while the middle one is extended and red. |

Four different inscription combinations on the buttons indicate the
relative function of each. This device is typically used for sliding doors. The upper and lower buttons "open" and "close" the doors while the middle one "stops" them. The new triple-touch actuator can be completed with a transparent protective cap. This accessory provides a protection to the unit against water, oil and dust entry, frequently present in many industrial ambients. |
