The LOVATO Electric line of 22mm pilot devices is now enhanced with this new type of actuator; it will pave the way to supplementary applications. The joystick is composed by a lever, operated in either two or four different directions; each directional movement is related to a different electric contact. A typical application is the fine adjustment of a moving arm which must be achieved in a quick and effortless way. To safeguard the mechanical sturdiness, the joystick has been designed with a metal body. Its rubber gasket warrants IP65 protection, covering the lever and body. There are also types with mechanical interlock, characterised by a ball grip that must be pulled to release the lever and allow free movement. The joystick can be installed side by side with any of the metal (8LM2T…) and plastic (8LP2T…) devices since it maintains the overall series design. |
