LOVATO ELECTRIC continues with the development program of new products by
renewing the range of protection equipment. The main innovation has been
concentrated on the earth leakage relays. The new series has a reduced number of versions but with features warranting major versatility in usage. All the models offer wide adjustment ranges for the current and tripping time set points as well as LED indicators for power on and tripping. The version, in flush-mount 96x96mm housing, includes 4 models providing the opportunity of choosing the most appropriate device for a particular application, in terms of both performance and pricing: |

- R1D: One tripping threshold and relay output with changeover contact - R2D: Tripping and alarm thresholds, two relay outputs with changeover contact, configurable as negative or positive fail safe feature, and constant control of the toroid-relay connection - R3D: The same features as the R2D with the addition of a flag indicator - R4D: The most complete relay which consents to viewing the current leakage on its display and also includes constant control of the toroid relay connection besides the features of the R3D type. The version, in modular housing, comprises 3 models: - RM: One tripping threshold and relay output with changeover contact - RMT: Tripping and alarm thresholds. one relay output with two changeover contacts, configurable in negative or positive fail safe feature, and with built in toroid transformer - RM1: The simplest and least expensive, with tripping threshold and relay output with changeover contact, configurable with a fixed 0.3 or 0.5A tripping threshold and 0.02s or 0.5s tripping time. The range is completed by the RC model, in surface-mount housing, suitable for mounting plate fixing and has a built-in toroid transformer and tripping threshold with output relay with changeover contact. For the correct leakage current monitoring, LOVATO ELECTRIC also avails of the toroid transformers, with internal diameter ranging between 35mm and 210mm. |
